Human Trafficking

Human Trafficking

Human Trafficking is the trade of humans, most commonly for the purpose of

  • Sexual Slavery
  • Forced Labor
  • Commercial Exploitation
  • The Extraction of Organs/tissues
  • Providing a spouse in the context with Forced Marriage

Human Trafficking is being deceived or taken against your will, brought, sold and exploited.

It is a system based on greed, control and power. Traffickers exploit the desire amongst the vulnerable. Traffickers create an intimate point of sale, making promises of progress like education, a new start and future choices.

The crime of human trafficking is due to the violation of the victim’s rights, this doesn’t necessarily have to involve the victim being moved from one place to another.
