The examples shown are by no means definitive, as the lists can be endless.

Honour Based Abuse may include any, or all of the above examples. It is committed by family members, or community when they believe that an individual has breached a family and/or community code of honourable behaviour, related to cultural and religious beliefs.

Familial Violence may include abuse between adults family members. It may include any of the above examples of behaviour, but is not limited to actions between ex or current intimate partners. The 2021 domestic abuse act does not limit this to family that lives together.
